I remember from my film days, when you wanted to develop, you entered the darkroom. It was just you, the light, the shadows, and the unseen potential of what you’d captured.

Alone in the quiet, surrounded by the smell of chemicals and the hum of anticipation, it was there that your vision (hopefully) came to life—slowly, intentionally, and unseen by others until it was ready to be revealed.

After lunch on Day 1, we’ll gather to photograph one another (completely optional) so those participating can walk away with fresh, beautiful images or video for your social media and website.

I want you to experience real people with stories to tell so you can immediately replicate for your own clients.

If you have a model request (bridal, seniors, women over 40, mommy + me, small family, etc.) please
do not hesitate to request upon booking.

The focus on the models will be WHO THEY ARE, vs. just what they are wearing. The wardrobe styling will be trendy vibes, classic looks, and some flowy fabrics.

Mood boards will be shown in the pre-workshop group so attendees can have wardrobe input.

You’ll experience two days of faith-centered workshops, hands-on photoshoots, guided business refinement sessions, and intentional space for quiet reflection and connection.

The Darkroom bridges the gap between where your business is now and where it’s meant to be, combining faith, strategy, and community to help you grow profitably and sustainably.

The cost includes workshop teaching and activities, coffee and refreshments, photoshoots, and curated materials. Lodging, meals, and travel to and from the retreat location is not included.

My priority for this event is that attendees are in the commitment stage of their business, and being IN business is that first big commitment. If/when you are officially in a business would be a great time for you to join us (if the event is still available).

No, the workshop is not refundable, however you can sell your spot to another photographer if the need shall arise.
